 About Mary Casserley

Mary paints predominantly views and landmarks in and around the Chiltern Hills, Her work revisits the classic era of Railway  Poster design, recreated in the fresh and vibrant tones of 1930's travel art. She is influenced by the artists famous for creating pre-war advertising posters, particularly Norman Wilkinson.

Interest in her work is growing and she has undertaken many commissions. Boris Johnson, when he was Prime Minister, purchased one of her original paintings showing him and his family in the garden at Chequers.

Born in Berkhamsted, Mary now lives in Tring, Hertfordshire.
