How to Submit Work

We welcome submissions from artists and makers based in the UK - see below for details of the exhibitions we are currently inviting entries for and how to apply.

It's free to exhibit at Obsidian - the gallery charges NO ENTRY or HANGING FEE. We take a fixed commission percentage on any sales we make on your behalf.

 

31 March to 28 May 2024:  SPRING COLLECTION    Open to any British artists and makers. The exhibition is unthemed - any style, medium or theme is welcome, but we are looking for work that we feel will sell at our gallery, and a preference will be given to work with a Spring feel - colours or subject, but not exclusively. We also welcome submissions for hand crafted and upcycled gifts, furtniture, etc,

The entry deadline is 3 March. We aim to notify everyone within 3-4 days of your entry whether your work is accepted for the exhibition.
(please do contact us if you haven't heard from us after 5 days in case we haven't received your entry).
All mediums welcome - painting, illustration, drawing, printmaking, photography, ceramics, textiles, glass, wood, metal, jewellery, etc

British-based artists & makers are invited to submit entries to any of the exhibitions above. We welcome all media - 2d & 3d painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles, wood, metal, photography, etc, etc. We prefer you to send your images via email, but please keep the emails to a maximum of 3 to 5MB. Email a selection of your work to trisha@obsidianart.co.uk along with details on media, sizes and prices and an artist biography.


Please be patient as we receive many requests, so it may take us a while to get back to you, but we endeavour to reply within 10 working days. If you don't hear from us after 10 working days please do check we have safely received your email. Thank you.
