Emma J.Williams - Artist Statement

My work depicts the local landscape, layering location, geographical references and elements of the local flora and fauna. I aim to capture the differing perspectives of the landscape - combining real location with fragments of maps - morphing real places with imagined worlds.

Artist Biography

Recent exhibitions have been at Discover Bucks Museum, Aylesbury; Ridgeway Arts Prize, Uffington; Longwick Art Show; Art in the Park, Princes Risborough and with the Buckinghamshire Art Society.
Emma is an artist living and working in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. She is a member of the Bucks Art Society and the Buckinghamshire Visual Images Group. She also teaches art and well-being for Bucks Adult Learning.
