Otmoor Tree is an atmoshpheric tree landscape. Inspired by a trip to Otmoor Nature Reserve. This version has a monoprinted background of a dark inky blue sky which fades to green at the horizon, faint wispy clouds and a glowing full moon with a halo rising up in the sky.
Printed by hand in a very limited edition of 6. Small variations make each individual piece truly original. Every print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom and conservation mounted. This is a reduction linocut; a relief print formed with layers of colour which are cut and printed from the same block of lino. The block is destroyed in the process.
Materials: lightfast water-based inks, archival cotton paper, conservation mount
The linocut is mounted and the mounted Dimensions are approx': 41cm high x 51cm wide.
