Artist Statement

I am driven by a love for animals and the world around us, producing artworks that are more that just a visual painting. Painting both wildlife and domestic animals, I bring a unique perspective to my work. Not just confined to more conventional work, I use a variety of techniques; painting largely in oils, I paint on traditional backgrounds but also  vintage music  integrating song titles, lyrics, music or sound to deepen the narrative of the image. The fusion of art and music/sound is influenced by a family of musicians .

As an artist who responds to the emotional depth of the human-animal bond and the world around us, be it in nature or domestic animals, my work aims of to capture and immortalise this in my work.
