Susan explains the scene and her desire to capture it in paint, "I loved the orange glow in the sky and on the landscape when the sun was going down on a field of ripe crops.".

About Susan Gray
Trained in Fine Art at Buckinghamshire Chiltern University, Susan Gray is a land and seascape artist who takes her inspiration from the West Country and the Chilterns. Her paintings are worked up from sketches or studies made insitu, often at high tide on the beach or in the landscape. She was a finalist in the 2022 British Art Prize and exhibits in Cornwall and Buckinghamshire. She also runs her own acrylic painting workshops.
