Kate Wrigglesworth

Professional artist, Kate Wrigglesworth uses colour and composition to express emotion and create atmosphere. The flow of line in her paintings is influenced by her love of dance which adds poetry and inspiration to her work. 

She has developed over the years, an expressive form of painting, a poetic language with invented symbols and shapes developed from the environment in which she lives. The source of her work is based upon dreams, invented stories and created myths. Kate's work explores characters placed in different landscapes. These characters are fictional, figurative and abstract.

She exhibits her artwork nationally and locally.
