Jeanne Jackson

Jeanne Jackson currently has a number of pieces on show at the gallery as part of our Spring 2024 Collection.

After a degree in Ceramics from Bristol University and further study at Saratoga University, New York State, Jeanne established her first workshop at Space Studios in London`s Docklands. After moving to Oxfordshire, she combined teaching Art and Ceramics with producing ceramics. Her style and materials have evolved and changed over the years but drawing has always been an important part of her development. Travels in Central America and Africa have informed the designs of her recent work which involves scraffito drawing and under glazes and oxides. Jeanne's work is both hand built and wheel thrown. 

She is a member of Oxfordshire Craft Guild, West Ox Arts . Oxfordshire Artweeks and an
Associate member of the Craft Potters Association.
