About Caitlin Turner
Caitlin Turner is a 21-year-old illustrator based in Cornwall where she is currently studying BA in Illustration at Falmouth University.
Caitlin says of her work, "I'm fascinated by other-worldly creatures, fae folk, and the dark qualities present in fairy tales.
I grew up looking at Ed Org's work as my parents collected his art, which has greatly influenced my tastes and personal style as an artist. I've been drawing non-stop since I was 11, constantly looking at art from creators like Brian and Wendy Froud to golden age illustrators such as Arthur Rackham.
I have worked on various illustration projects such as creating a book cover for a Cornish folklore anthology and have been a part of local exhibitions in Cornwall. I am at the start of my career, hoping to flourish making fantastical art!"
